CLIFTON — An environmental clean-up will take place early next month.
The Friends of the Frisco will be joined by Gila Watershed Partnership, Southeastern Arizona Clean and Beautiful, Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, Freeport-McMoRan and the Town of Clifton for a clean-up of the banks and waters of the San Francisco River in Greenlee County.
The clean-up will take place Saturday, March 6, from 8 a.m. to noon, and volunteers interested in helping are asked to meet at Clifton’s Riverside Park.
