SAFFORD — Winners were named in the 2022 Gila Valley Fourth of July Parade.

● Most Creative — Michele Willson’s Farmer’s Insurance
● Best Performance — Gila All-Star Cheer
● Best Political — Lance Lines
● Most Beautiful — Arizona Department of Corrections
The metal drum train from Michele Wilson’s Farmer’s Insurance was named most creative in the 2022 Gila Valley Fourth of July Parade.

The grand marshal was Marge Schade, the owner of the local Pepsi bottling plant and Kaylie Windsor provided musical performances before the parade’s start.
The floats from the local Pepsi bottler – including Grand Marshal Marge Schade – was named most patriotic in this year’s Gila Valley Fourth of July Parade.

The parade was sponsored by the Safford Lions Club, with support from Double R Communications; Mt. Graham Golf Course; Kempton Chevrolet; La Casita; El Coronado; La Paloma; Subway; and City of Safford departments Public Works, Streets and Police.
The best political float in the Gila Valley Fourth of July Parade went to Lance Lines, who is running for Graham County Justice of the Peace.
