Experience Gila Valley website, socials go live

SAFFORD — A new window for the world to view the Gila Valley has opened.

The Experience Gila Valley website has gone live, offering both visitors and entrepreneurs an opportunity to see everything Graham County has to offer.

“Graham Economic Partnership and Arizona Office of Tourism funded this. And because of that, it’s not all Chamber initiatives,” said Vance Bryce, executive director for the Graham County Chamber of Commerce. “You don’t even need to be a Chamber member, or know who anyone at the Chamber is; it’s everyone and anyone that is trying to bring people to the Valley and trying to showcase this Valley.”

The website features more than 200 pages offering things to do and places to visit, an event schedule, trip ideas and listings of restaurants and other eateries.

On the economic development side, the website showcases infrastructure and business support offered in the Gila Valley, as well as demographic data, available properties and workforce training options. There’s even help with housing.

“There’s Instagram, go to Experience Gila Valley. Follow on Instagram (and) like on Facebook,” Bryce said. “If you like those things we’ll start seeing some content come out.”

A public roll-out of the website will take place Aug. 27.
