SAFFORD — City of Safford Utilities announced that natural gas line improvements will force a pair of short-term closures.
The sidewalk on the west side of the 1400 block of 1st Avenue will be closed from April 25 to May 1; and then on May 2-3, the southbound lane of 1st Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. to noon each day.
Residents are urged to use caution when in the area and follow all posted signage.
