SAFFORD — The Gila Valley Ministerial Association is getting ready for its first community outreach event at its newest facility.
A Resource Fair and Wellness Event for the Homeless will take place Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Samaritan Home.
The event is described as a chance for those dealing with home insecurity to connect with service providers, receive information about local jobs, and receive free health screenings.
Those attending will also be able to participate in therapeutic activities, described as “designed for a healthy mind, body and spirit.”
The event is free.
