SAFFORD — Traffic safety and mental health are just two of the topics Safford residents would like to hear more about from the Police Department.
On Tuesday, the Safford Police Department used its social media to ask residents what they like to hear more about. About two dozen replies were made in about four hours.
Traffic safety and mental health were the top answers, but others included emergency preparedness, noise pollution and whether police officers should be on their cell phones while driving.
Department officials said the input will allow the police to “better serve and connect with our community.”
