Paula Sue (Winsor) Curtis

Paula Sue Curtis (Winsor) passed away surrounded by family at Mount Graham Regional Medical Center on April 15, 2016.  She was 62.

Paula was born in Safford, Arizona on February 1, 1954 to Pauline Elizabeth (Nelson) and James William “Duke” Winsor.  She attended Thatcher Elementary and graduated from Thatcher High School.  She married and had three children:  Amanda Sue Weddle, Dennis Andrew Weddle, and Jared Todd Weddle.

Paula was well known and well liked in the community.  Although her later life was marked by illness, she loved visitors and making people laugh.  She loved her family and kept them close.  While we are deeply saddened by her passing, we let her go knowing that her pain is finally gone.  We are better people for having known her, our lives richer for having shared them with her, and our paths inextricably bound together in family and friendship because of her.

Paula is survived by: her sisters, Margret Ann Daniels and Jamie Lynn Winsor; her children, her grandchildren, Tyler Andrew Weddle, Lily Brooke Forgach, and McKenzie Nicole Weddle; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Paula will be conducted Friday afternoon, April 22, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., at the Solomonville L.D.S. Chapel by Bishop Brad Montierth of the Solomonville Ward.  Concluding services will follow in the Safford Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., at the Solomonville L.D.S. Chapel Relief Society Room.
