THATCHER — One person was seriously injured following a two-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 70 Wednesday.
Arizona Department of Public Safety officials said the crash between a passenger vehicle and a farm tractor occurred at about 3:33 p.m. at milepost 335, near Palmer Lane.
The only occupant of the passenger vehicle, the driver, was airlifted to a medical center in Tucson with “serious injuries”; however, the nature of the injuries and the person’s current condition were not made available.
The incident remains under investigation.
