SAFFORD — Employers can’t find workers? People can’t find jobs? Arizona @ Work has the solution.
Arizona @ Work is hosting a multi-employer job fair Friday, Sept. 17.
“We’re really excited; we’ve got a lot of different employers coming out,” said Arizona @ Work’s Bobbie Reed. “A lot of different employers; everything from health care to law enforcement.”
Arizona @ Work will also have applications for businesses that are hiring but so understaffed owners can’t take time away from the business to attend the job fair.
“There’s something for everybody . . . it’s so diversified there’s little bit of something for everybody,” Reed said. “If you are not into mining, maybe try law enforcement or corrections. In our little area, surprisingly enough, between retail and everything else, there’s something for everybody. And right now, there’s work out there.”
Also attending the Job Fair is Graham County, which is looking for temporary workers for the Graham County Fair, which takes place Oct. 7-10.
The Arizona @ Work Job Fair will take place Friday, Sept. 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the National Guard Armory, 3625 S. U.S. Highway 191 in Safford.
