SAFFORD —Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center’s Mt. Graham Surgical Associates have moved to a new location and are now seeing patients.
Mt. Graham Surgical Associates are the first to move into the hospital’s new Medical Office Complex, and will soon be joined by Copper Mountain Clinic, MGRMC’s family medicine clinic, by the end of the first quarter in 2022. Two more suites in the building will be filled later that year.
The move allows Mt Graham Surgical to nearly double the office in size — from 2,379 square feet to 4,700 square feet — double the number of examination rooms, and include a procedure room where minor procedures may be performed.
Mt. Graham Surgical Associates is home to two general surgeons: Dr. Bart Carter, MD, FACS; and Dr. Jorden Marble, MD. Both were born and raised here, and Carter has served the Valley as a board-certified general surgeon since 1995. He was the only general surgeon until Marble returned to the Valley in August 2020.
Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center is a level IV Trauma Center, where Carter serves as the Trauma Program Medical Director. Both he and Marble respond to trauma calls that come in from the community.
