Three new COVID cases were reported for Graham County last weekend and 3 new cases were reported this morning according to data from Arizona Department of Health Services. Statewide there were 345 new cases and 20 reported deaths. Only 27.7 percent of the population in Graham County have been vaccinated, which is significantly lower than the statewide vaccination rate of 50.6 percent.
COVID cases have been rising nationwide. Los Angeles County has reported more than 1,000 new cases for three consecutive days. Overall, the U.S. is averaging more than 19,000 new cases for the first time since the end of May, which is a 60 percent increase compared with two weeks ago.
