Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center Auxiliary has successful fundraiser

National Volunteers Month is over, and the month-long raffle held by the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center Auxiliary came to a close on April 30th at 1:00 in the afternoon when the winning tickets were pulled.

The first ticket pulled was for the Yeti Tundra 45 cooler, donated by Max Hinton of Hinton Taxidermy. It was won by Carolyn Ticer, the Emergency Department’s Unit Clerk, who came as soon as she got the call to claim her bear resistant cooler.

Next, the winning ticket was pulled for the Bliss Hammocks recliners and side table, also donated by Max Hinton of Hinton Taxidermy, and the lucky winner was Joe Montoya, a member of our community.

The winning ticket for the Nexgrill 6 burner propane gas grill with side burner, grill cover, and meat thermometer probe, donated by an Anonymous Friend of the MGRMC Auxiliary, belonged to Stephanie Moreno, also from our community.

Second Vice President Liz Hinton, who organized the Spring events said, “Everyone really enjoyed this Spring Fundraiser Raffle as well as the Auxiliary Bake Sale held mid-April. Folks were waiting in line to buy baked goods! Thanks to our donors and the community’s interest in the Auxiliary. We’re glad so many people purchased raffle tickets and bake sale items so we can make patient care equipment purchases for the hospital.” She also thanks Thriftee for allowing us to sell tickets out in the community. Two of the winning tickets were sold there.

Next up for the Auxiliary — discounted merchandise for hospital employees and community members who work in the healthcare field during National Hospital Week, May 13-18.
