SUPERIOR — Motorists traveling to the Phoenix area next week may find delays on U.S. Highway 60, between Miami and Superior,
Lane closures and delays will occur Monday, July 26, for guardrail replacement near the Pinto Creek Bridge. Alternating lane closures, with flaggers, are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
While delays will generally be limited to 15 minutes, wait times of up to 30 minutes are possible during heavy travel times.
The guardrail repairs are necessary as a result of damage caused by the Telegraph Fire last month.
Motorists should proceed with caution, slow down, watch for equipment, and follow the directions of flaggers and law enforcement.
