SAFFORD — Graham County set a single-day record with 20 new cases of COVID-19 Monday.
The Graham County Health Department announced that 11 of the cases are from Thatcher, five from Safford, three from Pima and one from Central.
That brings Graham County’s total to 172 cases, with 41 recovered, 128 active and three deaths.
The San Carlos Apache Tribe announced five new cases — one Monday and four Tuesday — including a minor who had been in quarantine due to contact with a previously identified cluster.
There are 198 tribal members who have tested positive — 175 on the reservation and 23 off — with 110 recovered, 83 active and five deaths.
Greenlee County is at 26 positive cases, with 12 recovered, 13 active and one death.
