GRAHAM COUNTY — Seven parcels of land in a proposed subdivision east of Red Knolls have new owners.

During Tuesday’s meeting, the Graham County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the over-the-counter tax deed sale on the parcels located on West La Siesta Bella Road and West Klondyke Road.

“These are for parcels that were foreclosed by the county, on behalf of the state, for delinquent taxes,” said County Treasurer Cindy Orr. “Each of these offers is for the full amount of back taxes and fees required.”

Efren Maza, of Safford, purchased five of the undeveloped parcels for a total of 11,855; while Rami Musallam and Suleman Musallam, of Claremont, Calif., purchased the other two for a total of $4,024.

Less than 10 of the 160 parcels in the subdivision currently have domiciles or other structures.
