Judy LaRue Thompson, 76, passed away May 31, 2016 at her home in Tucson, Arizona. She was born on November 22, 1939 in Safford, Arizona to Gilbert and Exia Campbell.
Judy grew up in Safford. She married Gay L. Thompson in 1956 and together they had four children. Judy was certified as a nursing assistant in 1968. She retired from the VA hospital. Judy enjoyed gardening and her dog Minnie.
Judy is survived by her daughters; Amanda Johnson and Cindy Ratzlaff and sons; Gary Thompson and Ferrin Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her half-sister Ruby Joy Pylican and her husband of 54 years Gay Thompson.
A Graveside service for Judy will be conducted on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 10:00 am in the Thatcher Cemetery.
