Jean M. Egnell passed away at Haven of Safford nursing home on August 27, 2016. Jean was born on October 16, 1926 in Bisbee, AZ. She is happy to be reunited with her parents, Frances and Max Egnell, her only sister, Ruth Hassing, and a niece, Lina Nightengale, who preceded her in death.
Jeanie left her beloved Bisbee in 2002 when she became a resident of the nursing home and was cared for by her two cousins, Shirley Gilbert and Frankie Windsor. While a resident, Jeanie enjoyed all the activities and special care administered by the staff at Haven of Safford.
Jeanie is survived by two nieces, Shawn Gregory and her family of Lake Havasu, AZ, Jamie Kaczanowski and her family of Ontario, Canada, as well as Shirley and Frankie’s sisters, Joan Walthers of Cedar Park, TX, Helene Bolton of McKinney, TX, and Judy Keplinger of Boise, ID.
A memorial service for Jean will be held at a later date.
