SAFFORD — Graham County Health Department reported 16 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday evening.
That brings the total number of new cases in January thus far to 1,620, which is 33 percent of all the cases Graham County has experienced since the start of the pandemic.
Of Wednesday’s new cases, 14 were in the 85546 Zip Code, while one each were in 85543 and 85552.
The 85546 Zip Code, which includes Safford and the area correctional facilities, accounts for 80 percent of the cases this month.
Greenlee County
Greenlee County Health Department reported one new case Wednesday evening.
That brings the total number of new cases in January thus far to 103, which is 20 percent of all the cases the county has experienced since the start of the pandemic.
