Fort Thomas – On January 16, 2019 at approximately 7:33 PM Graham County Communications received a call of a one vehicle accident in the Ft. Thomas area. Graham County Sheriff’s Office, San Carlos EMS, Lifeline and Ft. Thomas Fire/Rescue responded to the area of Ft. Thomas River Road and River Road, 2 miles west. A SUV had gone off the road, rolling off a 30 to 40 foot incline. The SUV came to rest on its right side.
Inside the SUV were 4 children (ages ranging from 1 to 4 years old) and 3 adults (ranging in age from 22 to 29 years old.) The driver was identified as Jasmine Soto (age 22 of Peridot.) The SUV appeared to misjudge the curve, going off road and down the incline. All were treated medically and taken by San Carlos EMS and Lifeline to San Carlos and Mt. Graham Hospitals. No injuries appeared to be life threatening at this time.
The investigation into this accident is on-going and alcohol may have been a factor.
