Early Saturday morning, the City of Safford put on a Household Hazardous Waste dump. For residential customers only, this dump was provided by Clean Harbor environmental services Inc. Wearing white protective suits, workers from Clean Harbor took the toxic waste materials and separated them. After separating the waste, they later loaded it up and brought it back to their headquarters to be recycled. They accepted adhesives, paint, mechanical grease and motor oil. The only thing required to drop off the toxic waste was a photo idea and a recent copy of the City of Safford utility bill.
