SAFFORD — Roper Lake State Park is celebrating the holiday season with the holiday ornament trail.
Visitors to the state park can stop at the visitor’s center and select an ornament to write a personalized message. The ornaments will then be placed along the hiking trail for all to view.
Visitors may bring their own ornaments but State Parks cannot accept breakable or glass ornaments.
The holiday ornament trail runs until Jan. 2, and will be available to visitors for the three-quarters of a mile First Day Hike on Jan. 1
