Graham County adds 11 new coronavirus cases

SAFFORD — There are 11 new cases of COVID-19 in the Gila Valley.

Graham County Health Department announced the new cases Tuesday morning. Four are on the San Carlos Apache reservation, three in Safford, and two each in Pima and Thatcher.

That brings Graham County’s total to 1,162 since the start of the pandemic, with 328 of the cases considered active and 28 deaths.

Despite the recent increase in cases, Graham remains the county with the third-lowest number of cases, behind Greenlee County’s 103 and La Paz County’s 616.
