SAFFORD — The Safford City-Graham County Library has selected local tattoo artist Mario Fuentes as the featured artist for the month of August 2021.
When discussing his art, Fuentes said, “I love to express myself through several forms of art. I do not limit myself to one medium, style or concept. I do this on heavyweight watercolor paper, tattooing skin and, last but certainly not least, my music group with my brothers.”
Fuentes said he views each art piece as an extension of his past, where he has been, and what he has learned as well as a preview to the future.
By featuring local artists, the Safford City-Graham County Library wishes to showcase talent, celebrate art in its many forms and enhance the experience of all who come through the library’s doors.
This show will be available for viewing on the main floor of the library during open hours now through Aug. 31.
