Free movies, bowling, paintball for teens this fall

SAFFORD — Following a series of successful events during the summer, the Graham County Substance Abuse Coalition has announced another series of events for teens during the fall.

Things start Saturday, Sept. 17, with a free showing of the film “The Woman King” at 6 p.m. at Victory Fellowship Theater.

Two events will take place the following weekend, with free bowling from 5-7 p.m. at Safford Lanes on Friday, Sept. 23; and dummy roping Saturday, Sept. 24, in the parking lot of the Graham County Health Department annex on Safford’s Main Street.

The fall events wrap up with paintball slingshots at the Dry Lake Park shooting range, from 4-6 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30.
