Frank Delacruz Sanchez “Pancho”, 83 of Safford, Arizona, entered into rest on March 10, 2018 at Villa Ocotillo Memory Care in Scottsdale, Arizona surrounded by his family.
He was born to Santiago and Delfina Sanchez on May 7, 1934 in Glendale, Arizona. Frank came to Solomon to see his mother while she was visiting her brother and he met Eva, the love of his life. They married September 20, 1951 and made Safford, Arizona their home.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eva, December 1999 and son Alfred Sanchez September 2006.
He is survived by his daughter Frances Lopez and husband Richard, grandsons Richard & Gabriella and Eric Lopez, granddaughter Amy Lopez, great grandchildren, Danika Esquivel, Ava and Mia Lopez.
A viewing will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. The Rosary will follow right after at 10:00 a.m. and then Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
