THATCHER — Fitness instructors from across the Gila Valley are gathering together to recognize Women’s Health Week and raise funds for a local woman battling ovarian cancer.

On Friday, May 13, there will be two community fitness events at the tennis courts at Thatcher High School. The first is Zumba at 6 p.m., and a High Fitness event will take place at 7 p.m.

Cost is $5 per person, or $15 for a family. There will also be a raffle with tickets $2 each.

All entry fees and raffle ticket proceeds will benefit Kelley Johnson, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 1 ovarian cancer and multiple sclerosis.
