SAFFORD — A child’s playhouse located behind commercial buildings in Safford’s Downtown was lost to fire Wednesday.
The fire occurred just before 2 p.m. and the Safford Fire Department quickly knocked down the fire, preventing its spread to nearby buildings.
The fire forced the temporary closure of 8th Street, between 8th and 6th avenues.
Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
