Families Fighting Cancer Together hosting Family Fun Night, Pickleball Tournament

THATCHER — A full night of family-friendly activities is planned to help those with children who battling cancer.

Families Fighting Cancer Together announced the Family Fun Night will take place Saturday, Oct. 21, from 5-11 p.m. at Thatcher’s Herb Winsor Ballpark. Admission is free and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

The event will feature games and activities for all ages, including bounce houses for the kids. There will also be vendor booths featuring local crafters and artisans, plus food trucks.

Funds will be raised via a silent auction of items and services donated by local businesses and residents.

Families Fighting Cancer Together also announced its third annual Pickleball Tournament fund-raiser will take place Nov. 10-11 at the tennis courts outside of Thatcher High School.

Cost is $55 for one day of play or $70 for both days. To register, go to Order page (ffct.us).
