Ernest Alvarado of Safford passed away on May 30, 2019 in Tucson, AZ at the age of 74. He was born April 3, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA to Alberto Alvarado & Georgia Lopez Alvarado.
He worked in the kitchen at Main Street Cafe where he had many friends. He loved to watch movies, do word search puzzles and yard work. He really enjoyed watching the Arizona Diamondbacks play baseball and spending time at the casinos. Ernest was in the Special Olympics’ where he participated in bowling.
He was very kind and respectful to others, enjoyed being with family and friends. He lived with his cousin Ray Gonzales for over 24 years and was loved very much by everyone. Ernest was truly kindhearted.
Services will be held on June 6, 2019 at the St. Rose of Lima Parish with a viewing at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Rosary at 10:00 a.m. and the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.
