We are saddened to announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, and grandmother Deanna Mangum at age 64. After a brief struggle with various health issues, she passed comfortably in her home on March 13, 2024, in Harlingen, Texas
Deanna is survived by: her husband Gary, of almost 45 years; and her children, Jeremy Mangum (Carrie), Paul Mangum (Alyssa), Amanda Mangum and Kali Solomon (Dave); along with her grandchildren, Jade, Parker, Zack, Sadie, Landon, Weston, Nathan, Jaxson, Quinn, and Mack. In addition, her siblings, Ginger Faucette (Phil), Steve Taylor (Lisa), Jonnet Woods (Russell) and Sheryl Goodman. Deanna was preceded in death by: her parents, Jerry and Leona Taylor; and a granddaughter, Avery Mangum.
Funeral services for Deanna will be conducted Saturday morning, March 30, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at the Thatcher Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Thatcher Stake President Todd Haynie. Concluding services will follow in the Pima Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, March 29, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home and Saturday morning, March 30, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., at the Thatcher Stake Center Relief Society Room of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
