GERONIMO — The discovery of a dead body has resulted in Graham County Sheriff’s deputies investigating the circumstances surrounding the person’s death.
A dead body was reported Tuesday, Aug. 31, at about 1:50 p.m. Deputies, with assistance from Thatcher and San Carlos Police departments, were able to locate the body of what appeared to be a man, north of the old Geronimo store.
Identity was not immediately discovered and deputies reported the body showed no easily identifiable cause of death.
The body was transported to Pima County Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy, and investigation into the incident is ongoing.
