Cynthia (Cindy) Jean Getta, born December 19, 1950, passed into eternal life on October 18, 2021, at the Haven of Safford. She was 70.
Cindy retired from the County of Santa Clara in California as a Public Defender Investigator after 35 years of service. She moved to Thatcher, Arizona in October 2011.
She loved the great outdoors, pet dogs and cats and dabbled in various crafts. She loved teaching primary children in the L.D.S. church and served as a temple worker at the L.D.S. Temple in Central.
Cindy is survived by: her aunt, Sandra Tomasik from Rockland, California; and several cousins in Alaska, California and Florida.
Memorial services for Cindy will be conducted Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at the Church Street Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Cole Bryce of the Thatcher 8th Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Central Cemetery.
She was a woman of great faith, charity, and a big heart, she will be missed.
