Saving lives and home-made cookies – Win-win! The American Red Cross is experiencing critically low levels in lifesaving blood product and collections – we need you more than ever. The storms back east and rampant illness have product coming off our shelves as fast as we put it on! If you have already made your appointment for this blood drive, THANK YOU and we look forward to seeing you! If you have yet to make an appointment, please consider doing so and bring a friend. Every pint saves up to 3 lives, and we can’t save any at all without you!
The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.
