WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Juan Ciscomani, R-Ariz., wants to know what the public considers government waste.

In an e-mail to constituents, Ciscomani is asking the public to offer ideas on how to “eliminate wasteful spending” by the federal government.

Ciscomani, who was elected to a second term this November, said he joined the DOGE Caucus “to eliminate unnecessary and bureaucratic red tape, wasteful spending, and rein in the out-of-control agencies.”

DOGE, or Department of Government Efficiency, is a commission proposed by President-elect Donald Trump to cut federal agencies, employees and spending. According to Ciscomani’s e-mail, in the House of Representatives, DOGE stands for Delivering Outstanding Government Efficiency.

To offer suggestions on what should be cut, e-mail DOGE@mail.house.gov.

Ciscomani represents Arizona’s 6th Congressional District, which includes Graham, Greenlee and Cochise counties.
