WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Federal Elections Commission website states the filings for incumbent U.S. Rep. Juan Ciscomani, R-Ariz., and Democratic challenger JoAnna Mendoza are still being processed. However, both posted to X (formerly Twitter) stating contributions for 2025 thus far.

On April 2, Mendoza posted that her campaign has received $800,000 in campaign contributions since her filing to run in early February.

“My team and I are beyond honored by the outpouring of support our campaign has received in just the first quarter,” Mendoza wrote.

Ciscomani wrote on April 14 that he had raised $1.5 million, with $1.2 million in cash on hand.

“Laura and I are so grateful for your trust in or mission. It’s an honor to represent AZ-06, and together we will defend and secure this seat again,” Ciscomani wrote.

Arizona’s 6th Congressional District includes all of Greenlee County, most of Graham County except for the San Carlos Apache Reservation, most of Cochise County except for Douglas and Bisbee, and portions of Pima and Pinal counties.

In the filings that have been processed thus far, U.S. Rep. Eli Crane, R-Ariz., who represents the San Carlos Apache Tribe in Congress, has raised the sixth-most amount of money for his re-election campaign since the start of the year.

The FEC reports that Crane has raised $1.2 million since Jan. 1.

The most raised was $9.5 million by Josh Weil, a Democrat who ran for and lost a 2025 special election in Florida’s sixth Congressional District. Second most was $6.5 million by Democrat Jennifer Gay Valimont, who ran for and lost a 2025 special election in Florida’s first Congressional District.

The Cook Political Report currently has AZ-06 as a toss-up race in 2026. Crane in AZ-02 is considered likely to win re-election.
