SAFFORD — Eastern Arizona Cinderella announced its popular pageant is returning this month.
The pageant is Jan. 22 at the Eastern Arizona College Fine Arts Auditorium, and is open to participants 0 to 29 years old in eight divisions:
● Infant – 0 to 11 months
● Baby – 12 to 23 months
● Tiny Tot – 24 to 35 months
● Tot — 3 to 6 years
● Miniature Miss – 7 to 9 years
● Miss – 10 to 12 years
● Teen – 13 to 17 years
● Woman – 18 to 29 years
Participants compete in the categories of photogenic, interview or playtime, casual wear modeling, party wear modeling, and talent or tot personality.
Winners of each category advance to the Arizona State finals, but everyone who participates is eligible to attend and represent this area.
Tot through Women division winners get $75 paid toward the registration fee at the state finals, while Eastern Arizona College is sponsoring a one-year of full tuition scholarship for Overall Teen and Overall Woman winners this year and going forward.
