Chamber says thanks to SalsaFest sponsors

SAFFORD — Before the NatureSweet SalsaFest gets into full swing this weekend, the Graham County Chamber of Commerce took the time to thank the people and businesses that make the event happen — the sponsors.

The 2022 SalsaFest Sponsor Appreciation Dinner was held at The Venue Thursday, decorated by Jars and Lace,with food catered by Boof’s What the Truck

“You can’t do an event without money, and luckily there are great businesses and locals that want o sponsor,” said Torey Cranford, events chair for the Chamber Board.

During the dinner, Vance Bryce, executive director for the Chamber, announced the 17th annual SalsaFest will take place Sept. 22-23, 2023.

2022 NatureSweet SalsaFest opens Friday at 5 p.m. with the Art Guild of Southern Arizona fine art sale, live music and the Taste of the Trail competition, with the restaurants on the Salsa Trail competing for the crown of this year’s best.

Saturday features the car show, Chihuahua races, vendors, the Bud Light/Estrella Jalisco beer garden, the amateur salsa competition with a top prize of $1,000, and lots of live music on the Kempton Chevrolet Stage headlined by the XS Band.
