SAFFORD — Citing his commitment to the youth of the Gila Valley, James Bryce was presented the Pride of Safford award for December.
In his more than 20 years of service to the Boys and Girls Club of the Gila Valley, Bryce has served as a board member and twice been named chairman. He currently chairs the club’s Safety Committee and was instrumental in development of the club’s first working budget.
In addition to her service with the Boys and Girls Club, Bryce volunteers as a member of the Solomon School board and volunteers with Graham County youth soccer.
“James’ unwavering goodwill has made a direct impact on the lives of many local youths, especially in their development as responsible and productive citizens of our community,” his nomination read.
