SAFFORD — Gila Valley residents have multiple chances in September to help keep blood supplies full.

A Red Cross Blood Drive will take place Wednesday, Sept. 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at GFWC Woman’s Club of Safford.

On Sept. 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., a blood drive will take place at VFW Post 10385 in Thatcher.

The month will close out with two drives. On Thursday, Sept. 28, Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center will host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. And on Friday, Sept. 29, the Gila Valley Ministerial Association will host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.

Pre-registration is not required but is strongly recommended due to increased demand to donate. To pre-register, go to https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/donation-time.
