SAFFORD — A two-vehicle crash just before 5 a.m. this morning has left one person deceased.
The incident occurred at about 4:48 a.m. Friday, May 10, on U.S. Highway 191, at milepost 136, just east of Safford.
Department of Public Safety officials said the collision involved a sedan and a semi. The semi was northbound when the semi was rear-ended by the sedan.
The driver of the sedan died as a result of the crash. Identity of the victim has not yet been released.
The driver of the semi was not injured and investigation into the incident is ongoing.
