SAFFORD — The City of Safford announced that a portion of 18th Street will be closed for two days for utility work.
The closure will take place Oct. 26-27, from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day, and the road will be closed to all through traffic.
The city’s Utilities Department will be making improvements to the natural gas line, necessitating the closure.
