PHOENIX — Arizona Department of Transportation is warning residents about a new text scam.
Victims report receiving a text that claims drivers licenses need to be updated.
ADOT did not send the text and cautions all to not open the text or open any associated websites.
The only ADOT websites customers should conduct personal business on is AZMVDNow.gov or ServiceArizona.com.
ADOT is working with the Arizona Department of Administration and law enforcement in an effort to put an end to the scam.
