TUCSON – Congressman Juan Ciscomani today announced the endorsement of 11 county supervisors from all five counties in Arizona’s 6th Congressional District, including Republicans, Democrats, and Independents — a broad coalition of local leaders united behind his record of delivering results for Southern Arizona.
Throughout his time in Congress, Ciscomani has worked closely with county leaders to secure investments in infrastructure, strengthen public safety, improve water security, support veterans, grow local economies, and deliver critical resources to rural communities. The endorsements underscore the trust he has earned from local officials across party lines through his collaborative, solutions-focused leadership.
The following supervisors have endorsed Ciscomani’s re-election campaign:
- Pima County Supervisor Steve Christy (R)
- Former Pima County Supervisor and Chair Sharon Bronson (D)
- Cochise County Supervisor Frank Antenori (R)
- Cochise County Supervisor Kathleen Gomez (R)
- Pinal County Supervisor Stephen Q. Miller (R)
- Graham County Supervisor John Howard (R)
- Graham County Supervisor Clay Mack (R)
- Graham County Supervisor Paul David (D)
- Greenlee County Supervisor Ron Campbell (R)
- Greenlee County Supervisor David Gomez (D)
- Greenlee County Supervisor Will Wearne (I)
“I am honored to have the support of county supervisors from each of all 5 counties in our district,” said Ciscomani. “The best solutions come from listening to local leaders who understand the unique needs of their communities. Over the last several years, we have worked together to secure critical investments, strengthen public services, support economic growth, and ensure communities across the district have a strong voice in Washington. I am grateful for their partnership, honored to have their trust, and look forward to continue delivering real results for our district.”
Ciscomani has worked closely with county governments throughout Arizona’s 6th Congressional District to secure federal resources for critical infrastructure, public safety, water, transportation, and economic development projects. As Arizona’s sole member of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees delegation, he has helped deliver more than $60 million in direct investments to communities across the region during his first three and a half years in Congress. The list of endorsers includes supervisors from both parties, reflecting Ciscomani’s reputation for working across the aisle to deliver results for the district.
Meanwhile, Ciscomani’s opponent, JoAnna Mendoza, continues to rack up an ever-growing list of out-of-district, out-of-touch, far-left endorsements. Rather than earning the trust of local leaders who serve Arizona’s Sixth District day in and day out, Mendoza’s support comes almost entirely from Washington power brokers and national partisan groups headquartered far from Southeast Arizona.
Pima County Supervisor Steve Christy — “Juan Ciscomani has proven himself to be the kind of representative Southern Arizona deserves in Congress,” said Pima County Supervisor Steve Christy. “He works across every corner of Pima County, listens to local leaders, and delivers results that make a real difference for our communities. Whether it’s strengthening public safety, securing critical infrastructure investments, supporting our military and veterans, or standing up for responsible spending, Juan has always put Southern Arizona first. He understands our values, he shows up, and he gets the job done. I’m proud to support his reelection and look forward to continuing to work with him on behalf of the people of Pima County.”
Former Pima County Supervisor and Board Chair Sharon Bronson — “As prior chair and the longest serving Democrat of the Pima County Board of Supervisors, I have seen firsthand that the best leaders put results ahead of politics. Juan Ciscomani has done exactly that. He works across the aisle, builds bipartisan coalitions, and stays focused on delivering for Southern Arizona. From protecting our public lands and water resources to supporting infrastructure, cross-border trade and strengthening our local communities, Juan understands how to bring people together to solve problems. That’s why I am endorsing Congressman Juan Ciscomani. He cares deeply about our community and deserves to be re-elected.”
Cochise County Supervisor Frank Antenori — “Juan has been fundamental for Cochise County and our economy. He was able to secure a new mission at Fort Huachuca this year which will have an overwhelmingly positive impact for Sierra Vista and surrounding areas. On top of that, Juan has brought back $20 million to revitalize the energy industry here in Cochise County. As a Veteran, I have also been able to experience first hand the life changing legislation Juan has passed that helps out my fellow Veterans that call Cochise home. With Juan in Congress, Cochise has a fighter that will continue to deliver for them. I am proud to endorse him for reelection, and I hope everyone in Cochise will join me in supporting him!”
Cochise County Supervisor Kathleen Gomez — “Cochise County has been a top priority for Juan. He has delivered funding for critical infrastructure projects across our county, including preliminarily securing more than $18 million for the Buffalo Soldier Trail reconstruction on top of the $24 million he has already brought home for the project. He also secured nearly $9 million for improvements at Bisbee Douglas International Airport and has been leading efforts to bring the New World screwworm sterile fly distribution facility to BDI—an investment that will strengthen agriculture, protect our livestock industry, and create new economic opportunities. Juan also understands the critical importance of the Douglas Port of Entry, working to strengthen the infrastructure that supports the safe and efficient flow of two-way trade that is so vital to Cochise County’s economy. From critical water infrastructure upgrades in Tombstone to working with every community across Cochise County, Juan has never left anyone behind. I’m enthusiastic about the future with Juan in office, continuing to deliver real results for the people of Cochise.”
Pinal County Supervisor Stephen Q. Miller — “With Juan, Casa Grande received over $2 million to provide affordable housing to our teachers and to revitalize the community center for our elementary school district. While serving on multiple water resource committees, I have had the pleasure of working with Juan on multiple water projects that are vital to our continued growth in Pinal County. These funds have made our community stronger, allowing our children to continue to thrive. I look forward to working alongside Juan in the future, and I am in full support of his reelection this year to Congress!”
Graham County Supervisor John Howard — “Rural Arizona needs leaders who understand our communities, show up, and fight for us every day. That’s exactly what Juan Ciscomani has done,” said Graham County Supervisor John Howard. “Juan has consistently delivered real results for Graham County and communities across rural Arizona by securing critical investments in our infrastructure, supporting our farmers and ranchers, strengthening public safety, and making sure our voices are heard in Washington. He doesn’t just talk about rural Arizona—he fights for us. I’m proud to support Juan because he has earned our trust through hard work, strong relationships, and a proven record of delivering for the people he represents.”
Graham County Supervisor Clay Mack — “Graham County has been blessed to have someone like Juan Ciscomani in our corner. From new technology at Mt. Graham Regional Medical Centerto water and infrastructure projects, Juan has made it a priority to ensure our rural communities have the ability to sustain ourselves and grow our local economy. On behalf of Graham County, I look forward to delivering more results with Juan and supporting his campaign this year.”
Graham County Supervisor Paul David — “In 2022 when Juan took office, he was dedicated to ensuring the success of Graham County. Fort Thomas Unified School District is set to receive funding for affordable housing units for their teachers, fulfilling a critical need to retain great educators in our local communities. He puts us over partisan politics that have overtaken Washington. I know when issues arise, Juan will always answer the call to lend support, he has proven to deliver real results for our rural communities.”
Greenlee County Supervisor Ron Campbell — “In Greenlee County, we are home to the largest copper mine in North America. Juan has been extremely involved in the continued success of the Morenci Mine and advocating for the importance of critical minerals found here in Arizona. Juan has also prioritized our county and our needs at our local Morenci schools as well. He listens, delivers and we need to keep Juan in Congress. Juan Ciscomani has my total support for his reelection this year!”
Greenlee County Supervisor David Gomez — “Juan Ciscomani has been the most involved Representative in Greenlee’s future. We’re having roads paved and maintained for the first time in over 40 years. With Juan in office, Greenlee has a voice that is heard, and a future that continues to look brighter each year. I look forward to our continued partnership in Greenlee for years to come.”
Greenlee County Supervisor Will Wearne — “Greenlee has seen Juan secure funding for roads, flood mitigation, and delivered legislation that has been fundamental in our communities. The support we have received in Greenlee cannot be overstated, Juan has earned the trust of the people by taking the time to learn our specific needs and provide common sense solutions that have positive impacts on our unique communities here.”
The endorsements come from local leaders representing communities across Arizona’s 6th Congressional District, which spans portions of Pima, Pinal, Cochise, Graham, and Greenlee counties, as well as a portion of the Arizona-Mexico border. Ciscomani was first elected to Congress in 2022 and re-elected in 2024. He currently serves on the House Appropriations and Veterans’ Affairs committee, and has helped secure more than $60 million in federal funding for local projects through the Community Project Funding process.
