Gila Valley Pioneer Days is set for July 24 and 25, 2026 at Edd Hubbard Field in Pima, Arizona.
Registration for sporting events is due by July 15, 2026. Registration links can be found at https://gilavalleypioneerdays.com.
The Variety Show will be held Friday July 24th at the David M Player Center for the Arts @4:30pm. Tickets are $3 and can be purchased at TicketLeap.com or onsite.
The Family Rodeo will be held at the Vard Lines Memorial Roping Arena on Fri July 24th. For those that would like to participate, registration starts at 6pm at the arena. Events begin at 7pm There will be a family dance to follow at the Pima LDS Stake Center Parking lot.
Sat July 25th from 7:30am – 9:00am — There will be a “throw-back to the 80’s Pioneer Day Children’s Parade”. Families can come walk the track at the Edd Hubbard Football Field dressed in pioneer clothing (optional) pull decorated wagons, strollers, or bikes (no electric scooters or e-bikes allowed). Along with the parade, there will be pioneer games and activities for the children to enjoy. To go along with this year’s theme “Walk With Me,” we are hosting a shoe & sock drive. Families are welcome to bring new or gently used shoes and socks to donate, which will be shared with local nonprofits to help those in need.
Sat. July 25 @5:30pm — The annual evening Pioneer Parade will take place in Pima this year starting and ending at the Pima Highway Church. The theme is “Walk With Me.” After the parade, festivities will continue at the Edd Hubbard Football Field in Pima with 12 Food Venders, the annual BBQ dinner plates, jumping castles, pioneer games, music, and a fireworks show at dark.
