SAFFORD — More than 30 businesses will come together this weekend to help couples plan their perfect wedding.
Forever Sweet Wedding Rentals and Design is bringing a wedding expo back to the Gila Valley on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Manor 415 Event Center.
The event will feature everything a bride could want, from hair and make-up, to venue options and photography.
There will also be food and cake tastings, and a fashion show of bridal gowns, bridesmaid and mother’s dresses and more. The fashion show, sponsored by Kendra’s Bridal, will take place twice during the event, at 11:30 a.m. and at 3 p.m.
Admission to the Wedding Expo is free.
The Gila Valley Bridal Fair started in 2016 at the Safford Woman’s Club by Torey Cranford, then owner of Cakes with TLC. Growth of the event prompted her to move it to the Eastern Arizona College Activity Center from 2017-2019.
After Cranford took a position with the Small Business Development Center at EAC, Keyhole Properties owner Kym Gifford and the Graham County Chamber of Commerce took over the Bridal Fair, and moved it to The Venue and Vignette on Main in Safford. It ran there from 2020-2023.
