Building Aloha, Inc., a nonprofit organization based in Sacramento, CA, dedicated to uplifting Pacific Islander and Indigenous communities, in collaboration with Family and Kids Foundation, continued its commitment to strengthening and uplifting Pacific Islander and Indigenous communities with completion of a donation of 200 holiday gift bags for children of the San Carlos Apache Tribe. Each gift bag, valued between $60–$75, includes toys, activity sets, and comfort items selected for different age groups to bring hope, healing, and a gentle touch of aloha during this holiday season.
Families also received hygiene kits, clothing, blankets, and essential household supplies donated by supporters from across California and the Southwest.
A long-time member of the Pacific Savagez Empire Motorcycle Club (PSMC) provided the volunteer truck delivery services through his company, Getn’ Loaded that transported the donation from the Inland Empire, CA to Arizona. Upon arrival, he was met by members of the PSMC Minokawa Tribe—the club’s Arizona chapter—who handled unloading and helped prepare the items distributed throughout the community.
“This effort reflects Building Aloha’s long-standing cultural commitment to service and shared kuleana, or responsibility,” said Marc “Kamaka” Luke, President of Building Aloha, Inc. “Our kuleana calls us to stand in faith and lean on the strength of our people as we expand our work to uplift underserved communities. Wherever there is need… wherever our wheels touch ground… there will be our aloha.” Gift bags and supplies were delivered to children in the foster care system, displaced youth, and families experiencing hardship throughout the San Carlos Apache Reservation. Remaining items were shared with community centers to ensure support reached as many families as possible.
Building Aloha’s mission is rooted in cultural connection, community service, and honoring the vision of the Pacific Savages Empire Motorcycle Club, whose leadership emphasized cultural pride, unity, and serving Indigenous communities. This donation effort represents the continued growth of that mission and the organization’s expanding partnerships across the region.
