Plan for continued lane restrictions on US 60 west of Miami June 23-27
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers that the June 20 alternating east- and westbound lane restrictions, between mileposts 240 and 243, has been extended from noon to 6 p.m.
- Flaggers and a pilot car will direct drivers through the work zone.
- An 11-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place until further notice.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone.
Next week restrictions:
US 60 to be narrowed to one lane in each direction with alternating east- and westbound travel between mileposts 240 and 243, approximately 3 miles west of Miami, for roadway improvements, during the following times:
- From 5 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. Monday, June 23
- From midnight Tuesday, June 24, through 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, June 25
- From midnight to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 26
- From 5 a.m. to noon Friday, June 27
- Flaggers and a pilot car will direct drivers through the work zone.
- An 11-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place until further notice.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone.
Upcoming restrictions:
US 60 to be narrowed to one lane in each direction with alternating east- and westbound travel between mileposts 240 and 243, approximately 3 miles west of Miami, for roadway improvements, during the following times:
- Daily from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 2
- From 5 a.m. to noon Thursday, July 3
- No lane restrictions are planned on Friday, July 4, in honor of Independence Day.
Motorists should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
