SAFFORD — The Arizona Department of Transportation is conducting traffic signal cabinet work at the intersection of U.S. Highway 70 and 5th Avenue in Safford from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 8.
During this work, the traffic signals for all directions of travel will be turned off/dark. Law enforcement will direct traffic.
Drivers should expect delays and slow down when approaching the intersection, obey traffic control and law enforcement, and use caution around personnel.
