CLIFTON — Southeastern Arizona Community Unique Services is looking for a little help in Greenlee County.
SEACUS, which serves the senior populations in both Greenlee and Graham counties, is looking for volunteers to help with the Senior Centers in Clifton and Duncan, and the Meals on Wheels program.
“Of course we’re lacking a lot of programming there, in regards to activities, because we lack the volunteers,” said Stephanie Nabor, SEACUS executive director. “So anybody who has any kind of skills or passions, we look forward to speaking with them.”
There are specific needs for Meals on Wheels drivers and kitchen helpers, but those who wish help with specific activities — such as exercise or games — are welcome to help, too.
In 2024, SEACUS delivered 34,619 meals, provided 30,214 hours of attendant care, 427 hours of housekeeping and 906 hours of respite for seniors in Graham and Greenlee counties.
To volunteer call 928-428-3229.
