Jaim’ee Marie Rodriguez

Jaim’ee Marie Rodriguez, of Duncan, entered into the arms of our Lord Tuesday evening, December 15, 2020, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  She was 20 years old.

Jaim’ee Marie Rodriguez was born on November 6, 2000, in Safford, Arizona. Jaim’ee was an avid softball player and loved the sport. At a young age, she was playing softball and then began playing on traveling softball teams. Jaim’ee traveled all over the country with her parents playing softball, in hopes to one day play college ball. She also loved volleyball and basketball, but her true passion was softball.

Jaim’ee excelled academically and followed her dreams of becoming a nurse. Jaim’ee was in her first block of the EAC nursing program and was so excited to finally see all her hard work coming to reality. Between her studies, she would also work at the Morenci Clinic as an LNA. She worked so hard and was loved by many at the clinic.

Jaim’ee was loved dearly by her family. She was kind, had a heart of gold, forgave easily, and loved her family with all her heart. She saw the good in all and hated drama. Her laugh was contagious, and her sassy personality shined. Her caring nature showed in all she did, and we knew she would be a wonderful nurse.

She is survived by: her parents, Victor and Corina Rodriguez; her mother, Diana Rodriguez (Ernesto Montaño); sister, Kayla Sanchez (Eddie); grandparents, Evelyn Rodriguez, Brenda Rhodes, Gary and Carla Chatham; and by many loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jaim’ee was preceded in death by: her brother, Victor Rodriguez, Jr.; grandfather, Louis C. Rodriguez.
